Dr. Taylor Clem - UF/IFAS Extension - Alachua County



Dr. Taylor Clem joined the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office in July 2018.

Dr. Taylor Clem, a graduate of University of Florida and University of Kentucky, has two degrees in landscape architecture and a doctorate in horticulture sciences. Dr. Clem has worked as a graduate student for University of Florida’s Center for Landscape Conservation and Ecology, with experience in the Florida-Friendly Landscaping Program, landscape design, and behavior change. Since graduating from University of Florida, Dr. Clem lived in Farmington, New Mexico, working as a Parks Planner for the city’s parks department.

Taylor is originally from the Midwest, but grew-up outside of Jacksonville, Florida. Spending much of his life exploring the outdoors, Taylor has been able to explore many of the nation’s natural wonders, but calls Florida his home. Whenever Taylor is not working, he can be found hiking, canoeing, or exploring the world with his wife and son.
