Space Coast Regional Friends Group of the Florida Master Naturalist Program

About Us

We are a group of graduates of the Florida Master Naturalist Program working to promote conservation through education in our communities. We are looking for members from any Florida county who want to continue their environmental education activities and outreach with fellow Naturalists. Graduates of one FMNP course module are eligible to become members of the Space Coast Regional Friends Group.

Current committees that you can become involved with are: Friends Activities and Events, Education and Outreach, Awards and Recognition, Membership, and Fundraising.

Become a Member

Membership dues are $20. To become a member please fill out the membership form.

Members are required to perform 5 hours of volunteer time to maintain membership in good standing. Volunteer time can be completed by manning a SCRC booth, volunteering at a nature center, volunteering for a non-profit organization that focuses on conservation and natural resources, leading hikes or talks, etc. Any volunteer time related to natural resources or conservation counts towards the 5 hours of volunteer time required. It doesn’t have to be time given towards or for the Friends Group.

Please consider donating to the FMNP Endowment Fund Flier when you fill out your membership form. The FMNP Endowment Fund was created as a permanent endowment to help ensure the long-term sustainability for future Master Naturalists by funding a Florida Master Naturalist program coordinator in perpetuity. You can watch this short video to hear from Dr. Marty Main about the fund. Here is the direct link if you prefer to donate online.

If you would like to pay via check, please fill out the membership form and mail the form and payment to the address on the form.

If you would like to pay via PayPal, please email the membership form to habeels@ufl.edu (or you can mail the form). You can pay via PayPal using the buttons in the pdf or you can choose the PayPal payment option below:

Please email us if you have suggestions for activities.
