Who We Are

The UF/IFAS Extension Calhoun County Extension Calhoun County is the liaison between research conducted by scientists as the Univeristy of Florida and other universities and our local community.

Our clientele includes:

• growers (agriculutural and horticultural)
• bee keepers
• homeowners
• youth
• families

The UF/IFAS Extension Calhoun County recieves direct funding from the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and Calhoun County Board of County Commissioners and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).  Extension is a nationwide educational network.

We focus on educational outreach through:

• workshops, seminars & webinars
• office visits, phone consultations & field visits
• educational materials & field demonstrations
