Welcome To Exploration Gardens
The mission of the Exploration Gardens is to demonstrate and promote Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ principles along with providing the community a place of beauty and enjoyment. The gardens are an integral part of our residential and commercial horticultural programming. They provide diverse opportunities for learning through self-guided tours, hands on demonstration and formal discourse. The gardens are designed to showcase different landscape design styles, garden types and maintenance techniques. The Exploration Gardens are made possible through the cooperative efforts of the Orange County Board of County Commissioners, UF/IFAS Extension faculty and staff, Master Gardener volunteers and numerous local landscape and nursery professionals.
