4-H empowers youth to grow and reach their full potential working and learning in partnership with caring adults.  Through 4-H, youth are growing into the future leaders of their communities, country and world. 4-H is a movement for positive change in every community in Wakulla County. 4-H youth grow into successful thriving adults by learning to do the right thing, breaking through obstacles and pushing our community forward by making a measurable difference right where they live. Not only that but 4-H is fun!


Wakulla 4-H Cooking 4 Life Club Off to a Delicious Start!

The Wakulla 4-H Cooking 4 Life Club held the inaugural meeting with 16 members ages 5 to 15.  Under the guidance of Volunteer Club Leaders Joey Prestia and Jessica Smith, the students learned about basic principles of food preparation safety while working together to prepare two classic recipes – a refreshing lemonade made with freshly squeezed lemons and delicious soft baked chocolate chip cookies. Chick Chain Registration Now Open!

The Wakulla County 4-H Chicken Champs Club is proud to participate in the 2018 Chick Chain Show hosted in Chipley, Florida on September, 29th. Participating 4-H youth aged 5-18 have until February 28th to register. If your youth is a first time participant there is a $50 registration fee. For returning Chick Chain participants who would like to show their grown chickens from a previous project there is a $5 fee. Each youth will be given 10 chicks
