Vegetables can be grown year-round in Florida if attention is paid to the appropriate planting dates. Planting dates and other vegetable gardening information are available below and also as a free mobile app called 'Florida Fresh.' 

Soil testing is recommended every one to three years to reveal pH and fertility issues in garden areas.  See the link below for more information on how to get your soil tested.
