The UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County Commercial Horticulture program provides helpful information and solutions for commercial businesses, government workers, and professionals in the industry. We do not currently have an agent serving our county, but you can call our office with your questions, and we will guide you to the right help.

Pesticide Applicator Certification

Pesticide Applicator Certification helps people get and keep their pesticide licenses. The program includes classes to prepare for the exam, help with taking the test, and continuing education to keep the license active.

Green Industries - Best Management Practices (BMP)

Florida Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI‑BMP) Certification is required by the State of Florida. All commercial applicators must earn a fertilizer applicator’s license and become GI‑BMP certified to apply fertilizers and to get or renew a local business tax certificate.
