Camp Times and Location
All day camps run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (doors open at 8:45am for drop off)

Extended Day Hours
Drop off from 7:30am-8:45am and pick up from 4:00pm-5:30pm for an additional $50 per week (you must sign up for extended day during the camp registration process). Camp's educational programs will only run from 9:00am-4:00pm, but we will offer supervised games, movies, and activities during extended day hours.

Wonder Emporium at 4-H Camp TimpoocheeCamp date: June 12-16, 2023 (overnight camp) Registration will open February 1st and be available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be open in 4-H Online. Campers who register before March 15th will receive a $25 discount. Duval Camp Scholarships are available Duval will transport the first 10 youth to register - To register for one of Duval 4-H's reserved spots, email duval4h@ifas.ufl.edu and we will initiate your registration with the state. Do not start a new registration for this week of camp in 4-H Online without talking to Duval 4-H first. Camp Timpoochee is ecstatic for our third summer of this imagination packed week! As campers' journey through Wonder Emporium week, they will connect the magic of the world with the real-life science that’s behind it all. From chemistry and physics to wildlife ecology and robotics, we will be sure to dabble into your favorite topics. Expect to perform experiments, create beautiful art, and collect specimens from the amazing world around us! |
Express Yourself Sewing and Arts Day CampCamp dates: June 20-23, 2023 (4 day camp) During this camp, we will spend half of our time working on a sewing projects and half of our time creating other forms of art. Beginner campers will learn about sewing tools, materials, and techniques, to craft projects. All materials needed and a sewing kit to take home will be provided. During the art portion of the camp week, we will paint, craft, and create projects that allow campers to express themselves as they explore new art forms. |
Florida 4-H LegislatureCamp date: June 26-30, 2023 (overnight event) Florida 4-H Legislators provides an opportunity for teen 4-H members to have a “learn by doing” experience in state government each summer. During this event, 4-H’ers will serve as Florida 4-H senators, representatives, lobbyists, media correspondents, Lt. Governor or Governor in a “mock” style experience. 4-H participants will get to experience what it takes for laws to be considered and passed or vetoed in a model legislative session at the Florida State Capital. The purpose of Florida 4-H Legislature is to provide an experience that prepares 4-H members for leadership in the American democratic process. Each participant learns, practices and defends the theory and process of representing citizens and making public policy. Register through your 4-H Online profile |
Bug CampCamp date: July 10-12, 2023 (3 day camp) This camp is for kids who love creepy crawlies. Campers will learn the science of studying bugs as they collect, pin, play games, and explore. We will take field trips off site as we collect insects in various habitats. Youth will receive their own collecting gear to take home. Interested in a full week of camp? Full STEAM Ahead Day CampCamp date: July 13-14, 2022 (2 day camp) Do you have a child fascinated by all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM)? Sign them up for this two-day STEAM Extravaganza! Youth will create chemical reactions, art robots, planispheres, and more. Additionally, youth will join us inside the portable Starlab planetarium for a tour of our galaxy and utilize the melting point of wax to create crayon art. Interested in a full week of camp? All About Animals Day CampCamp date: July 17-July 20, 2023 (4 day camp) During this camp, campers will learn about all different kinds of animals such as farm animals, pets, marine animals, wildlife, entomology, and exotic animals with hands on science activities. |
4-H UniversityCamp date: July 31-August 3, 2023 (overnight camp) Florida 4-H University is a week-long overnight event for senior 4-H youth (4-H age 14-18) held at the University of Florida. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops lead by University of Florida faculty, explore career opportunities, lead community service activities, interact with youth from all over the state, and have fun while developing critical life skills that will help them become productive and engaged citizens of the communities, their country, and their world.
