
Gulf County 4-H Youth Day Camps
Gulf County 4-H is where fun, learning, and hands-on adventure come together for kids ages 5–18! Discover a summer full of hands-on learning, creativity, and fun with Gulf County 4-H Summer Day Camps! Designed for youth of all interests, our camps offer engaging experiences in agriculture, outdoor skills, science, and leadership. From exploring baking and mastering the grill to participating in interactive projects and friendly competitions, each camp provides a safe and supportive environment where youth can build confidence, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Below is a list of our current camps. If you’d like your child to join, please enroll in 4-Honline or call (850) 639-2300.
Your child’s age on September 1st of the current year will decide which club they can join.

Archery Afternoons
Archery Club gives youth a fun and supportive place to learn the skills and discipline of archery while building confidence and teamwork. Members practice proper shooting techniques, equipment safety, and range etiquette under the guidance of certified instructors. Whether they’re beginners or experienced shooters, kids can set personal goals, track their progress, and even compete in local or statewide 4-H archery events. Along the way, they develop focus, responsibility, and sportsmanship—all while enjoying a hands-on activity that brings them together with friends who share similar interests.

Baking Day Camp
Join us for a fun-filled Gulf County 4-H Baking Day Camp where youth will roll up their sleeves and get creative in the kitchen! Participants will learn essential baking skills while making delicious homemade pizza, sweet cookies, and fluffy frosting from scratch. Campers will also get hands-on experience practicing piping techniques to decorate their treats like a pro. Whether your child is a beginner or already loves to bake, this camp is the perfect opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy tasty creations in a supportive and engaging environment. Don’t miss out on this exciting day of baking and fun!

Coastal Day Camp
Coastal Camp gives youth an exciting, hands-on way to explore the natural resources that make our coastal communities unique. Members learn about marine ecosystems, local wildlife, water quality, conservation, and the impact we have on our environment through guided activities and field experiences. Whether they're testing water samples, studying shoreline habitats, or participating in community cleanups, kids gain practical knowledge and skills while developing a deeper appreciation for the coast. Along the way, they build teamwork, stewardship, and problem-solving abilities—all while having fun and connecting with others who share a passion for the outdoors. *Franklin County Youth Welcome*

Tailgating SPIN Club
Fire up the grill and get ready for a sizzling 4-H Grilling Summer Camp! This hands-on camp is designed to teach youth the fundamentals of outdoor cooking while preparing them to compete in the county tailgating contest. Meeting in engaging two-hour sessions, participants will build skills in grill safety, meat selection, seasoning, cooking techniques, and presentation. Along the way, youth will learn how to plan a winning tailgating menu, work as a team, and practice time management under friendly competition conditions. Each session offers opportunities to cook, taste, and improve, helping campers gain confidence and creativity behind the grill. Whether they’re beginners or budding pitmasters, participants will leave ready to bring the heat on competition day!
Attending this camp qualifies youth to compete in the county Tailgating Contest.

You can access Florida 4-H Online through any modern browser (Internet Explorer is no longer supported) on your computer or mobile device. For the best experience, make sure your browser is up to date, and we suggest using a desktop or laptop computer.
Membership Fees
Florida 4-H membership fees are $20 per child. This fee is for youth ages 8 and older (as of September 1st) and will allow youth to participate in all clubs. Some clubs may have additional fees. Out of the $20 you pay, $10.00 will go directly to Gulf County 4-H program. The other $10.00 will go to the state 4-H Program to help improve, update, and modernize state-level events, activities, and competitions for 4-H youth. This money will also help cover the costs of things previously covered by counties such as insurance and transporting youth to regional and state events.
Cloverbuds (youth 4-H ages 5-7) and adults are NOT charged a state fee. Please do not make any payments for cloverbuds or adults at the community club membership fee payment site.
We believe every child deserves to pursue their passions and talents, regardless of their financial situation. Financial assistance is available by contacting Gulf County 4-H at (850) 639-3200.
