4-H Youth Development
4‑H helps young people build skills they can use for the rest of their lives by learning through hands‑on activities. In Lake County, 4‑H reaches more than 5,500 youth through school clubs, community clubs, after‑school programs, and 4‑H camps. With the help of trained adult mentors, 4‑H members take part in projects, events, and activities that match their interests. They can participate at the county, district, state, and even national levels.
