There are so many ways to get involved in Pinellas 4-H!

4-H Clubs
Our 4-H clubs meet often and give youth a safe, friendly place to try new interests, build leadership skills, and do community service. Clubs are run by youth officers with help from caring adult volunteers. Members do hands-on activities to learn about a specific topic. This is a 4-H project. Some clubs choose a new project each year. Others keep the same project to build their skills and knowledge over time. To learn more about a club and its project, contact the Club Leader.

Competitions and Special Events
As you build your skills and leadership, you can join activities beyond your club at the local, state, and national levels. Show your talents in competitions like Insectathon or Public Speaking. Grow your leadership at events like iLEAD, 4-H Legislature, and Ignite by National 4-H. Whether you’re competing, meeting new people, or learning something new, these events help you explore interests, build confidence, and make friends!
Volunteer Opportunities
Pinellas County 4-H thrives because of our dedicated adult volunteers! By sharing your time and talents, you can help shape the next generation of leaders.
- Club Leaders & Co-Leaders: Guide youth as they explore interests, build leadership, and learn by doing. Club leaders help run meetings, support youth-led activities, and coach young people in their projects.
- Event & Camp Volunteers: Help with workshops, competitions, day camps, and other special events throughout the year. These short-term roles are flexible and make a big impact.
- Advisory Committee Members: Help shape the future of our program by serving on the 4-H Association. Members give advice on programs, budgets, and community connections.
