Wakulla County 4-H Online Registration

UF/IFAS Extension Wakulla County 4-H will offer 6 summer day camps for various ages and skill levels this year. Each camp will have a different theme. Programming is structured to promote learning and creativity. Campers will experience learning through hands-on activities and instruction.  4-H Summer Day Camps are a great way to keep your kids active mentally, physically, and socially during the summer. Space is limited. Register early. Fees includes lunch, morning and afternoon snack, all activities, and materials.

Location: 84 Cedar Ave, Crawfordville, FL 32327

Time:  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

Dates:

Week 1 - June 9-12 Clover Bud Crafters Ages 6-8                                 Fee: $225.00 per child

Week 2 - June 16-19 Crafty Creations Ages 8-12                                  Fee: $225.00 per child

Week 3 - June 23-26 All About Animals Ages 8-12                              Fee: $250.00 per child

Week 4 - July 7-10 Archery Ages 8-12                                                      Fee: $225.00 per child

Week 5 - July 14-17 Paper and Clay Crafts Ages 8-12                         Fee: $250.00 per child

Week 6 - July 21-24 Fun with Food Ages 8-12                                       Fee: $250.00 per child

 

A $50.00 nonrefundable deposit is required for each camp your child is registered. The deposit must be paid within 5 business days of when you register. Your child will not be approved and registered until the deposit/s have been received. ALL final camp payments are due by May 30, 2025.

New Families Please register as participants!

  • Please create the account with a parent email (this email will be used for all members in the same family).
  • Select Florida for state, Wakulla for county, and University of Florida for institution.
  • Complete Family information and create the new account.
  • Once you have created the family account, you can add new members. Select 4-H as the program you would like to join.
  • Register as a participant by selecting “I want to participate in a 4-H activity, but I do NOT want to join 4-H at this time”.
  • Once you have finished the registration you can now register for events. Complete all required fields.
  • Events are listed in the left side menu. Click to open, then click on register. Select the family member you want to register and start the registration.
  • You will see a timeline process across the top of the page that will show you where you are in the registration process. All sections must be completed before you can submit the registration.
  • You will be notified by email that your registration has been submitted.
  • Each camp requires a separate registration. Deposit required before approval. See deposit information above.

Existing Members and Returning Families

  • Use your 4honline log-in information. You will find the camps listed under Events in the left-hand column of the page. You will register for each camp individually. Please check camp names, dates, and age requirements to assure you are registering for the correct camp week.
  • Once you have registered for camps, you will receive an email stating your request has been received. Deposit required before approval. See deposit information above.

All payments must be made in person at the Wakulla County Extension Office, 84 Cedar Ave, Crawfordville, FL. The office is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for payments. There is a drop-box for after hours. We can accept cash, check or credit cards. Please make checks payable to Wakulla County Extension.

  • Wakulla County 4-H 2025 Summer Day Camp Descriptions

    JUNE 9-12 – Cloverbud Crafters - AGES 6-8 ONLY. Designed specifically for youth ages 6-8 years of age. Activities will focus on creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Crafts will be designed to improve fine motor skills and self-confidence through hands on activities.

     

    June 16-19 – Crafty Creations – Ages 8-12. This camp will include basic to advanced crafting techniques. Activities will focus on creativity, imagination, and self-expression using various techniques and media. Campers will work with a local artist to create their own canvas painting.

     

    JUNE 23-26 – All About Animals - Ages 8-12. Activities will explore different types of animals. Campers will learn about the classification of animals, animal habitats, and animal behavior through hands-on craft activities and demonstrations. Live animals will be present throughout the week. *Please list any animal allergies*.

     

    July 7-10 – Archery- Ages 8-12. Campers will be introduced to the sport of archery using Genesis compound bows. Activities will focus on learning hand and eye coordination, proper archery techniques, sportsmanship, and improving self-confidence.

     

    JULY 14-17 - Paper and Clay Crafts - Ages 8-12. Activities will focus on paper and clay in art and craft designs. The crafts will be designed to challenge campers through use of fine motor skills, creativity and imagination.

     

    JULY 21-24 – Fun with Food - Ages 8 to 12. *Please note that meats, fruits, spices, herbs, wheat, peanuts, nuts, soy, eggs, and dairy will be used in the cooking activities. *

    Activities will focus on cooking skills, safety, and nutrition. Campers will learn different methods of cooking and will be introduced to the 4-H Food Challenge Contest curriculum. Youth will work individually and in groups.

    Kitchen Creations - Learn the basics of being a good cook, from measuring properly to basic knife skills. Create simple and delicious meals for you and your fellow campers. Make new friends and have fun! Snacks and bottled water included. Campers are encouraged to eat what they make but are welcome to bring their own lunch.

    Ages:10-15                                                                          Fee: $150.00 per child

    Dates: Tuesday, June 3 – Thursday, June 5, 2025,   Time:  10AM to 3:00 PM
