Florida Sea Grant presents: Bite-Sized Science

The Bite-Sized Science webinar series is presented by UF/IFAS Extension Florida Sea Grant agents. Each webinar will start at 4 pm EST. These webinars will consist of 30-minute presentations, but presenters will stay longer to answer questions as needed. People will need to register for EACH webinar that they would like to participate in. Click on the webinar title to register. Presentations will be recorded, and registrants will be sent a link to view the recordings. PLEASE NOTE THAT, WHEN WATCHING RECORDINGS, THE WEBINAR WILL NOT START UNTIL ABOUT MINUTE 2 OR 3...

Each day of the week is structured to loosely tie in with one of the Florida Sea Grant focus areas

  • Monday: Healthy Coastal habitats (Habitats and Species)
  • Tuesday: Fish & Fisheries
  • Wednesday: Threats to Coastal habitats/species
  • Thursday: Sustainability (including climate change)
  • Friday: Aquaculture and seafood

Starting in June, we will be cutting back to twice a week--webinars on Tuesdays will focus on topics related to harmful algal blooms, while those on Thursdays will cover a range of marine-oriented themes.
