4-H Summer Camps & Activities
During the summer months 4-H offers day camps on a variety of subjects. Stay tuned for a list of our upcoming summer camps!
Registration is through 4-H Online. Payment can be made by cash or check at the Baker County Extension Office.
Payment is required to secure registration. Payment plans available upon request.
Semi-Homemade Cooking Camp June 10-13, 2019
- Monday - Thursday; 9am-2pm each day
- Cost: $60 Ages: 8+ (as of 09/01/2018)
- Deadline to register: May 28th
- Semi-Homemade Cookbook
This camp will use pre-packaged and home cooking to make meals that can be made at home too! No need to bring lunch, we'll be making it!
Camp Cherry Lake June 24-28, 2019
- Ages 8-13 & 14+ Counselor (4-H ages are as of 06/01/19)
- Location: Madison, Florida at Camp Cherry Lake
- Early registration due by May 3rd: *Member $250; Non-Member $260
- Late registration after May 3rd: *Member $270; Non-Member $280
- *For member rate: must be member as of 4/1/19
- Orientation for Camp Cherry Lake is June 17th at 6pm location TBD.
Spend a week away from home! Make friends, go kayaking, swimming, fishing, and more! Enjoy campfires, the FUN SPOT, marshmallow paint wars and a dance!
Chopstix Day Camp July 8-11
- Monday - Thursday; 9am-4pm each day
- Cost: $60 Ages 10+(as of 09/01/2018)
- Deadline to register: June 24th
This field trip camp will explore Asian cuisine and culture from the farm to the table! Youth will learn about Origami, how to make fortune cookies, see how rice is grown, and so much more!! Bring lunch each day.
4-H University July 30- Aug 02
- Cost: $260 Ages 14-18 (as of 09/01/2018
- Location: Gainesville, FL
- Deadline to register: June 30th
4-H University is an event for senior 4-H youth held at the University of Florida. Attendees will stay overnight at the University of Florida for the week and participate in educational workshops, explore career opportunities, lead community service activities, interact with youth from all over the state, and have fun!

Bees: The Original Social Network Day Camp was held June 12-15, 2017. Youth learned all about bees, what they do and how they benefit us.
