In 4‑H programs, kids and teens take part in hands‑on projects in health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement, all within a positive environment supported by adult mentors who encourage proactive leadership. Young people experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country.

Beyond Citrus County 4-H Opportunities

Beyond Citrus County Florida 4-H Facilitate opportunities for youth to apply their learning through the state in competitions exhibitions and camps. Contact the state or the extension office for more information or search events on 4-H Online.

Project Books/ End of Year Reports

Project books are subject‑focused guides members choose and later describe in their end‑of‑year report. Record books include Fair Record Books, Activity Books, and the FL 4‑H Horse Book. The end‑of‑year report uses the Project Report to summarize the member’s full year.

Sewing, Outdoor, Pollinator Camp Ad

Day Camps

Citrus County 4‑H offers Winter and Summer Day Camps that spark curiosity through hands‑on learning. Youth can also join 4‑H library programs for year‑round exploration. Camps include Sewing, Outdoor Explorers, and more. All registration is on 4‑H Online, and membership isn’t required.
