In 4‑H programs, kids and teens take part in hands‑on projects in health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement, all within a positive environment supported by adult mentors who encourage proactive leadership. Young people experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country.

Citrus County 4‑H offers Winter and Summer day camps that spark curiosity and build real‑world skills through hands‑on activities and guided exploration. Kids can also participate in 4‑H library programs across Citrus County, giving youth more opportunities to learn, grow, and discover their interests year‑round.

School Enrichment is a partnership between UF/IFAS Extension and Citrus County Schools that brings engaging, experience‑based learning into classrooms. Public speaking challenges youth in a safe, positive space where they build confidence, character, and resilience. All students are welcome, and County finals take place each March.
