In 4‑H programs, kids and teens take part in hands‑on projects in health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement, all within a positive environment supported by adult mentors who encourage proactive leadership. Young people experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country.

September 18, 2026 Expanding Agriculture a Workforce program. A collaboration of the Citrus County Agricultural Alliance, Citrus County School Board, and Citrus County 4-H, this program immerses future leaders in pathways for careers in agriculture - science, artificial intelligence, technology, agronomy, and so much more.

4-H is a Youth Development Organization that belongs to the members, their families and dedicated adults who serve as volunteer leaders. For 30 years, the community has supported Citrus County 4‑H through the annual Citrus Stampede Rodeo each November. This family‑friendly event funds local youth programs and is run by dedicated Foundation members. Visit the Rodeo website for tickets, membership, sponsors, and scholarships.
