The Baker County Horticulture Program offers educational programs for residents in the area of Environmental Horticulture. Program emphasis is on Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM and best management practices (BMPs) for lawns, landscapes, and edible gardens.

Learn how to use low-maintenance plants and environmentally sustainable practices to create a beautiful landscape that saves you time, energy and money while protecting Florida's natural resources.
FRUIT & VEGETABLE GARDENING
Learn what varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs grow best in Florida and find information on planting dates, fertilizing, pruning, pest management, and hydroponic production systems.
BAKER COUNTY ARBORETUM
The Baker County Extension Office has its very own Arboretum for all to enjoy. This learning landscape features over 40 species of trees (including 25 Florida natives), numerous perennial flowers and shrubs, a fruit orchard, pollinator garden and more.
