Community Resource Development
Peyton Beattie is the Community Resource Development Agent in Clay County.
Peyton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag & Educational Evaluation from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida.
Community Development Programming in Clay County:
- Career and Workforce Development: plan, teach, and evaluate job preparation program for underserved and under resourced youth and adults; includes 5% 4-H appointment (Career Exploration and Job Preparation Summer 4-H Day Camp).
- Building Organizational & Community Capacity: plan, teach, and evaluate Leadership Skill Enhancement and Employee Development (LSEED) training program for County Employees not yet in leadership positions; design and facilitate internal and external activities to assist communities in accomplishing their goals and objectives through participatory decision-making dialogue and discussions.
