Gardening

4-H works with classrooms to teach a wide variety of gardening information such as how to plant and grow their own garden, to how to dry and preserve the fruits and vegetables that they grow in their garden, to plant science.

This can be done by going to the school and planting crops there or taking a field trip out to the Taylor county extension office to plant here.

All hands were on deck in Mrs. Simmons 3rd grade class planting broccoli, collards, peppers, and tomatoes.
