What we are doing

Master gardeners are involved in many things throughout the community. We also have many projects, classes, and workshops available not only for master gardeners but also for any member of the community to join. Here is a list of what is up and coming that might interest you.

Firescaping class coming up in February 2022

Every year hundreds to thousands of wildfires occur across Florida threatening both residents and their homes. Learn what plants are low to high flammability and what practices we can do to reduce the risk of wildfire damage. An eight-hour course split into 2 hr four-day training includes a field trip. Dates and times to be announced.

Annual Plant sale

Every year the master gardeners get together to sell plants to help fund future projects.

Demonstrations Gardens

One of the protects that the Master gardeners can work on is the demonstration gardens that you can find at the Extension office. These are gardens others can emulate and see how they work.
