4-H Volunteers

Volusia County 4-H relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission to help youth gain the knowledge and life skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. Your time as a volunteer will provide these youth the safe environment they need to pursue whatever interests, causes, and leadership roles that are most important to them. Adults who are not currently 4-H volunteers, we invite you to become a volunteer and share in the positive experiences of the Volusia County 4-H program.

While many choose to form or join a year-round 4-H club, there are opportunities for short term specialty clubs as well. For example, you may be great at small engine repair, sewing, or baking. Perhaps you are an avid photographer or have electrical experience you can share, all would be great choices for a specialty club. This type of club involves a smaller commitment of time and is flexible for length and age. You could volunteer once a week for 6 weeks or host a workshop.  It's up to you!

Whether you choose a full year club or volunteer for a specialty club, volunteers are the heart of 4-H, and your expertise, time and effort are appreciated.  Contact Chelsea Woodard for more information on becoming a Volunteer.
