UF/IFAS Extension Washington County is the front door of the University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences  in our county and beyond.  We focus on educational outreach through

The Cooperative Extension Service is nationwide and was established by the Smith-Lever Act of 1914. In Florida, the Cooperative Extension Service is administered by the University of Florida and is a partnership between the USDA, the University of Florida and Washington County government.
