RESIDENTIAL HORTICULTURE

Residential Horticulture at UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County helps residents and professionals build and maintain beautiful landscapes that foster, rather than endanger, the wonderful ecosystem that is Florida. We help home growers, community gardeners, students and teachers, and a host of others who want to develop bountiful crops in their backyards, in patio containers, or anywhere else that produce will take root. We provide training, in partnership with myriad researchers at the University of Florida, to help find the answers you need, when you need them. In these ways, and many more, we connect you with the land and what it offers.
