Equine Management Information

Raising equine animals such as horses, mules, donkeys, etc., can be a challenging task as their nutritional requirements, space requirements and others can be much different than cattle or other ruminants. Since Florida has over 1/2 million horses and is third only to Texas and California in the number of equine animals in the state, information concerning equine animals is very important to the state.
