Bradford County 4-H

. . . . .

4-H is a joint effort of local county governments, the University of Florida and the United States Department of Agriculture.  4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.  As one of our nation's oldest, yet most current organizations, 4-H is reaching millions of young people with positive youth development opportunities.

About 4-H

Find out all about 4-H including commonly used terms, the pledge, how to become a volunteer, and more. A list of resources for members, clubs, and volunteers is available here.

Volunteering with 4-H

4-H is all about Youth-Adult Partnerships, so we need caring adults to be involved in our programming, too! Check out our information page with great volunteer opportunities.

4-H Clubs

The best way to get immersed in a 4-H experience is to join a club. All clubs develop leadership skills and do community service, but many clubs have a project focus, too.

Fundraising and Scholarships

4-H programming can't happen without support from the community. 4-H also offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to attend 4-H programs or for post-high school endeavors.

Summer Programming

There are many county and statewide programs and events during the summer that provide great opportunities for youth to experience a range of topics.

4-H In School

Teachers can request 4-H programs for their classrooms to supplement their educational content.
