Horticulture and Small Farms
Our program focuses on the challenges and opportunities facing Bradford County small farms and aims to educate the next generation of small farmers. Our agent provides science-based information, hands-on activities, and educational assistance to develop the skills and competencies needed to start in the agricultural industry. Serving both part-time and full-time farmers, our program consists of a wide range of activities that benefit small and backyard farms, such as field trips, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
Our office provides testing for multiple licenses under Chapter 482, 487 and 388 of Florida's Statues. For more information and scheduling pesticide exams, please call our office at (904) 966-6224 to speak with our Agent Luke Harlow.
