Horticulture and Small Farms

. . . . .

This program works on two fronts: firstly, to provide homeowner-based environmental horticulture programs in Bradford County. Some of the program areas include the Master Gardener Volunteer Program, water usage in landscaping, square foot gardens, vegetable gardens, edible fruits, and Florida-Friendly Landscaping™. Secondly, it aims to provide resources and technical assistance to small farmers and crop producers within Bradford County. This includes traditional row crop selection and management, alternative crops, beekeeping, hydroponics, pest or disease diagnostics, and consultations.
