Backyard Poultry

The Backyard Poultry Program in Brevard County disseminates research based information pertaining to the production of small backyard poultry in Brevard County. The major goals of this program are to provide information on: the safe raising and harvesting of small flocks of chickens for home consumption of poultry and eggs; legal restrictions and ordinances; health concerns; and poultry management.
