Florida Friendly Landscape
The Florida Friendly Landscaping Program can help you transform your yard into a beautiful oasis that will not only conserve precious water resources and reduce pollution, but will also help you save time, effort and money.
The program was developed to address serious problems of pollution and disappearing habitats by enlisting homeowners in the battle to save our natural environment. This program provides specialized educational and out-reach activities for our community to help residents reduce pollution and enhance their environment by improving home and landscape management.
Did you know you could have your landscape reviewed to receive the Florida-Friendly Yard Recognition. If you live in Duval County and are interested in applying for yard recognition, please click here to email Stephanie Means, program assistant. Please include your name, physical address, and phone number. You can prepare for your FFL Yard Review by looking over the checklist our volunteers will use during the visit. Find the FFL yard inspection checklist here.
