Duval County 4-H Foundation
The Duval County 4-H Foundation, established in 1973, was created to enhance existing 4-H programs and to initiate new and innovative programs in youth development, through volunteers serving on the 4-H Foundation Board. Because of your support to the Duval County 4-H Foundation, 4-H reaches over 9,000 youth a year and gives thousands of dollars in scholarships to youth.
Duval County 4-H Foundation raises funds to support 4-H programs through individual and local business contributions, fund-raisers and grants.
The Duval County 4-H Foundation Endowment Fund established in 1999 was created as a permanent investment in 4-H Youth Development. Interest & dividends earned from the Endowment provides education, incentives, training, and personal development programs for 4-H youth members and volunteers.
Each year the Foundation looks for fundraising opportunities to support 4-H programs. Annually, the board hosts a Dinner and Auction and Munch Wagon at the Greater Jacksonville Fair
