We are glad you are visiting our website and hope that you find the information useful and up-to-date. Escambia County is very diverse in our landscape, natural resources and culture, from our beautiful white sand beaches in the south to the fertile crop lands in the north.

UF/IFAS Extension Escambia County is a three-way partnership among the University of Florida, Escambia County Board of Commissioners, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life for Escambia County residents by providing scientifically based agricultural, human and natural resource knowledge that citizens use to make decisions, which contributes to an improved quality of life. Escambia County 4-H Youth Development provides leadership, citizenship and life skills for youth in our county by offering learning opportunities locally and across the state of Florida.
