2022 International Coastal Cleanup Information
Land and Sea! Help keep our marine and coastal waterways clean!
This year we are offering online registration to minimize paperwork during the check-in process at the event!
We still request that all participants check-in at our Linda Pedersen Park station to pick up trash bags, gloves, water, and other goodies. We will also have the dumpster and recycling truck at this site. Please return all of the debris collected so it can be tallied and sorted. The data from these cleanups helps us to better understand the marine debris pathways and help prevent that debris from entering our waterways.
FREE T-shirts offered to the first 150 participants who check-in at Linda Pedersen Station on September 17th! (This giveaway is sponsorship pending).
When: September 17, 2022
Time: 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. Join us when you can!
Check-in: Linda Pedersen Park (front parking lot by Shoal Line Boulevard), 6300 Shoal Line Blvd, Spring Hill 34607.
If you would like to be a sponsor, please contact Brittany Scharf (bhallscharf@ufl.edu).
