4-H helps young people succeed by teaching skills like responsibility, working hard, and bouncing back from challenges through hands-on learning. The Okaloosa County Extension Office works to inspire youth and help them make a difference by building leadership skills.

In 4-H, youth make new friends, learn new skills, become leaders, and get involved in their communities

Clubs & Activities
Many Clubs available:
- 4-H is open to all youth, ages 5-18, determined as of September 1 of the current 4-H program year (September 1-August 31).
- Age Divisions
  - Cloverbuds: ages 5-7 (participate, but do not compete)
  - Junior: ages 8-10
  - Intermediate: ages 11-13
  - Senior: ages 14-18
- 4H Club brochure 2024-2025
- The Florida 4-H Youth Development Program requires an annual $20.00 membership fee for community club members who are 4-H age 8-18 years old
