A Master Gardener Volunteer... Is a mentor, interested in gardening, willing to share their knowledge and skills with their community. They are trained by UF/IFAS Extension professionals and are willing to donate time to educational projects.
Master Gardener
A volunteer-driven program that benefits UF/IFAS Extension and the citizens of Florida, with dedicated volunteers who are interested in Gardening and giving back to their community. Their mission is to assist Extension agents in providing research based horticultural education to Florida residents.
Soil
You may bring 1-2 cups of your soil sample in a Ziploc® bag and we will test the pH in house for free. We also have the bags/forms for you to send your sample to the lab in Gainesville. Use the link above for more info on our Soils lab. They also have all of the forms and a great FAQ page.
Talk to an MG
Master Gardener Volunteers are available on Friday's in the South Extension office from 9am - 12 Noon, and Monday through Friday at the Crestview office. Use the link to email them with your questions.
