Nutrition and Wellness

UF/IFAS Extension Programs on food, nutrition, health and weight management encourage physical and mental well being for individuals and families in Okaloosa County. Programs include food safety, ServSafe certification, food preservation, food budgeting and meal preparation. Classes and workshops are offered throughout the county and available for other groups. Personal Finance

UF/IFAS Extension FCS Programs help Florida families meet the practical challenges of daily life. Family economic stability and well-being are promoted through programs on money management and consumer education. The Okaloosa Saves program is part of the national initiative, America Saves. The VITA (volunteer income tax assistance) program is for qualifying local citizens to prepare and file tax returns.
