Commercial Horticulture
The UF/IFAS Pinellas County Commercial Horticulture Program offers education and training based on the newest research from the University of Florida. The Commercial Horticulture staff helps solve plant‑related problems, identify plants and insects, provide training, offer CEUs and pesticide testing, answer questions about pesticide licenses, and support efforts to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community.
Licensing
The State of Florida requires that most professionals that apply pesticides as part of their job be certified to legally apply ANY pesticides (even Round-Up). For information about licenses, study materials and more click on licensing header above to be taken to the Pesticide Information Office website.
