Water Education
It is important to take care of our water. This means keeping our water clean and making sure we have enough water for the future. Every day, we can make choices that help protect our water. You can learn more through Lara’s water programs: the Florida Waters Stewardship Program, the Florida Microplastic Awareness Project, and the Adopt A Drain program.
Environmental Education
Environmental education covers many topics, but Lara focuses on helping people live alongside wildlife and connect with nature. She does this through guided hikes, hands-on programs, and online resources like videos, blogs, and social media. Her main programs include a week-long workshop for educators, the Wildlife of Florida webinar series, and her Naturally Florida podcast
And More!
Lara works at the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center. Along with a great team of staff and volunteers, she offers guided hikes and fun educational programs for the community.
