Who We Are

In Florida, the Cooperative Extension Service is run by the University of Florida. St. Johns County Commissioners help by supporting local staff and buildings. The St. Johns County Extension Service offers educational programs based on research. These programs cover farming, gardening, family and consumer topics, marine life, and 4-H youth activities. Local advisory groups make sure the programs meet the needs of the community. Training volunteers is a big part of what we do so we can reach more people in the county.

The St. Johns County Board of Commissioners and UF/IFAS Extension work together to provide helpful programs for everyone in the county. Click here to see our "Working Together" reports.
