Family & Consumer Sciences
Our mission is to link education with life experience to help people improve their lives, their families, and communities. UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Family & Consumer Sciences brings you workshops, educational series, newsletters, media articles, volunteer training programs, exhibits, demonstrations, publications and office consultations. Volunteer support for these programs is provided by Master Food & Nutrition Educators. Family & Consumer Sciences programs are scheduled at the request of groups and can be designed to target specific information for the audience.
