Family and Consumer Sciences
Our Mission
To link education with life experience to help people improve their lives, their families, and communities.
Duval County Family and Consumer Science agents bring you workshops, educational series, newsletters, media articles, volunteer training programs, exhibits, demonstrations, publications, and office consultations. Our volunteer programs support personal financial management, food entrepreneurship, food preservation stretching food dollars, nutrition, and wellness.
Family and Consumer Sciences programs are delivered virtually and in person. Programs are scheduled at the request of groups and can be designed to target specific information for the audience.
