
Florida Master Gardeners
What are Master Gardeners? All Florida Master Gardeners are volunteers, trained and certified by the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), to assist Extension Agents in disseminating residential horticultural information to the residents of Florida.
Benefits of being a Florida Master Gardener
The primary benefit of becoming a Florida Master Gardener is the information that you gain. Our classroom and hands-on trainings will educate you on valuable information including fertilizer, garden pests, weather, herbicides, pesticides and organic vegetable gardening.
