Franklin County 4-H

The goal of the 4-H program is to extend agricultural education to rural youth by organizing boys and girls clubs and through “learning by doing". The UF/IFAS Extension mission is to develop youth programs using a learn-by-doing approach in order to help youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens. Florida 4-H aspires to be the leading youth development program that creates positive change in youth, families, and communities. Be apart of something amazing - join today!!

Currently there are no 4H Clubs in Franklin County. We are trying our best to get volunteers involved to help our county youth.

4-H Needs You!

Adult volunteers play an important role in the 4-H program. They mentor 4-H youth, coordinate local community clubs, and help to plan and run events. 1. Decide that you want to help kids grow and explore their futures. 2. Check out some of the different volunteer experiences (volunteer roles) with Florida 4-H. 3. Franklin County 4-H had some of the most energetic youth from the state of Florida. Our members served on the District 3 Council. They were Camp Counselors at Camp Timpoochee and Marine Camp. They travelled to attend Conferences and Board Meetings. They represented us at 4H University. They voiced their opinions on Teen Retreat. They visited the Capitol and meet with Senators and House Representatives. We need you...
