The goal of the 4-H program is to extend agricultural education to rural youth by organizing boys and girls clubs and through “learning by doing". The UF/IFAS Extension mission is to develop youth programs using a learn-by-doing approach in order to help youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens. Adult volunteers play an important role in the 4-H program. They mentor 4-H youth, coordinate local community clubs, and help to plan and run events. 1. Franklin County's 4H

Franklin County 4-H has some of the most energetic youth from the state of Florida. Our members serve on the District 3 Council. They are Camp Counselors at Camp Timpoochee and Marine Camp. They travel to attend Conferences and Board Meetings. They represent us at 4H University. They voice their opinions on Teen Retreat. They visit the Capitol and meet with Senators and House Representatives. JOIN us...
