UF/IFAS Marion County Master Gardeners

The mission of the Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program is to assist Extension agents in providing research-based horticultural education to Florida residents. Our vision is to be the most trusted resource for horticulture education in Florida.

Master Gardener Volunteer Program

The Florida Master Gardener Program is a volunteer-driven program that benefits UF/IFAS Extension and the citizens of Florida. The program relies on dedicated volunteers who have an interest in gardening and in giving back to their communities.

Events

The UF/IFAS Marion County Master Gardeners proudly host the largest plant sale in the region at the annual Spring Festival (always the second weekend of March), and sell plants they propagate at the Spring and Fall Plant Sales. Multiple other educational events are held throughout the year so check here often.
