LICENSING & TRAINING IN ALACHUA COUNTY
The extension office offers training and testing for agricultural and structural pesticide licenses administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The goal of the training is to provide education on the safe and responsible use of pesticides, effects of pesticides on people and the environment and the worker protection standard. Each class reviews fundamental concepts on the pesticide exams but it is not a substitute for studying the pesticide applicator training manuals.
