Backyard Chickens Ordinance

This 2020 Ordinance was approved, and UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County was tasked to provide the educational course needed for the public to take and pass in order to participate in small backyard chicken keeping activities. Extension developed a Canvas© course for on-line use.  As a result, UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County provided their County Partner with a solution to a need to better serve the community with this convenient, on-line option.
