What Are The GI-BMPs?
The GI-BMP program is a science-based training program for Green Industry workers, such as lawn-care and landscape professionals. It is offered through the UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ program.
The training teaches safe and responsible landscaping practices that help protect Florida’s ground and surface waters.
These practices can also:
- Save homeowners time and money
- Make landscapes more attractive
- Protect the health of families and pets
- Help care for the environment
The goal is to keep Florida’s water clean while creating healthy, beautiful landscapes.
