A Florida-Friendly Landscape is a quality landscape designed, installed, and maintained according to the nine Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ principles. These principles aim to reduce environmental impact by applying water, fertilizer, and pesticides properly, creating wildlife habitat, preventing erosion, recycling yard waste, and employing other practices based on University of Florida research.
