Putnam County 4-H Youth Development
. . . . .
The UF/IFAS Extension 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach to help youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens. This mission is accomplished by creating safe and inclusive learning environments, involving caring adults, and utilizing the expertise and resources of the University of Florida and the nationwide land grant university system. I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living for my club, community, country, and world.

4-H Volunteers
Putnam 4-H relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission to help youth gain the knowledge and life skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. Your time as a volunteer will provide these youth with the safe environment they need to pursue whatever interests, causes, and leadership roles that are most important to them.
4-H Events and Camps
By providing physical, mental, social, and emotional growth opportunities, 4-H events give members positive, meaningful experiences. 4-H events are hosted at the county, district, state, and national levels.
School Enrichment
4-H School Enrichment is a partnership between the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Service and a school district to provide educational content in various subject areas. We value our relationship with the schools and welcome the opportunity to provide research-based curricula, training, and in-class programs for classrooms.
Putnam 4-H Clubs
Clubs are the foundation of 4-H. A 4-H club is a group of five or more youth guided by adult volunteers and has a planned program that is ongoing throughout the 4-H year. Check out this page to find out more about the Putnam County 4-H club program.
