Contests
One of the four Essential Elements of 4-H is Mastery. Mastery of a skill or concept is key component of positive youth development. Youth work on their project and reach a level of mastery. 4-H youth have the opportunity to demonstrate their mastery through competition at the county, district, state, and national levels.

Pumpkin Design Contest
Design your own pumpkin and decorate or carve it! Take a photo, save it as a .jpg or .png and email it as an attachment along with the title/name of your pumpkin to Ms. Julia at julia.kelly@ufl.edu. There will be winners in decorated and carved pumpkins in each division. Pumpkins will be judged on: visual impact, craftsmanship, originality, and creativity. Submit your pumpkin photos by November 3, 2025.
