Aquaculture
Florida aquaculture products bring in about $100 million in sales annually. Half of this revenue is from tropical fish, which account for 95% of the nation's total.
Aquatic Crops
In Florida, one thousand aquaculturists grow over 1,500 aquatic crops--fish (including tropical species), plants, mollusks, crustaceans, and reptiles--using a variety of production systems.
